Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any other enquiries please get in touch with us.

When can I start my course?
New student intake is on the first Monday of the month (excluding holidays).

How long are the courses?
The Preliminary Certificate and Certificates 1, 2 and 3 are all 12 weeks long. Certificate 4 is 20 weeks long.

How many students will be in my class?
The average class size is 10 to 12 students.

How do I pay for my course?
It is essential to pay your fees up-front before the course starts. At present we can accept payments by cheque, cash or direct deposit.

How do I get to and from school each day?
Most students rely on public transport to get to the college. Brisbane has a very good public transport system, including buses, trains and ferries. There are bus stops located right outside the school.

Can I do further study after I have finished my English language course?
If your English language level is high enough and your academic record is good, you can choose to go onto further study. In most cases you will need to do an IELTS test and gain the required results before you can gain entry to some educational institutions.

What do I do in my spare time?
You will be surprised at how much there is to do in Brisbane and the surrounding areas. Once you start your course you will make friends with other students and you will be able to do things together after class and on weekends.

Where can I send and receive emails?
The school has a computer language lab set up, which is used by our language classes. The computers are also available for students to use during their breaks and before and after class. This service is free of charge.
